Our stable trunk is made up of three co-directors:
Tris
I am a registered nurse and health visitor with a lifelong belief in the wellbeing benefits of nature and the outdoors, which I am passionate about sharing with anybody who is interested. My experience in nursing has equipped me with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships and effectively address the unique needs of each individual. Whether working one-on-one or with larger groups, my approach is always empathetic and inclusive, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
In November 2024, I completed my training to become a Certified Forest Therapy Practitioner with Lightbox offering ways to get the best out of your connection with nature to meet your wellbeing goals. You can see my profile on the Graduates page.
Since then, I have developed my practise through my community sessions and group for parents with young children, reaching the level of confidence and experience to be able to offer a new 1:1 approach.

I am a wellbeing coach, forest therapy practitioner, and nature-based facilitator, supporting people to reconnect with themselves, others, and the natural world. Through guided outdoor experiences, I create safe, nurturing spaces that help people slow down, reduce stress, and find greater clarity, calm, and connection.
My work is shaped by both lived and professional experience. Growing up on a dairy farm in Devon, I developed a deep connection to nature that has supported me through times of stress, burnout, and postnatal depression. Alongside this, I bring over 24 years of experience in early years leadership in Bristol, including leading Sure Start programmes and Children’s Centres, combined with my training in coaching, forest therapy, and Tree Babies.
Today, I work with adults, parents, and community groups through charities and independent practice, offering one-to-one coaching and group experiences in nature. My approach is compassionate, calm, and non-judgemental, helping people feel more grounded, connected, and able to thrive.

I educate student social workers and likes live music, activism and blogging in my spare time. The Social Eyes blog aims to put the social in to social work. It features links to events that are happening, things I've seen out and about, or stuff I've read or seen that links with social work and issues of social justice.
